Event Overview: exe.hail was an immersive evening of installations, performances, and interactive works that explored power, technology, and authority. Set in an alternate reality, the event transported audiences into a dystopian world, where actors guided them through “The Session,” hosted by “The Company.” Live performance played a central role in deepening immersion, with actors building a fully inhabited world that examined AI-human interaction, corruption, and control. The experience brought together emerging artists and curious minds to engage, reflect, and respond.
The event featured works by artists such as Sakr, Dan Haywood, and ngr.ev with live performances throughout the evening by Filipa Fernandes, Lalin Vva, and Keira Johnson. An immersive soundscape was curated by Ricaai and Max Ballin. In total, around 40 artists participated, representing countries including the UK, Ukraine, Brazil, France, India, Mexico, Portugal, Poland, Argentina, China, Russia, Belarus, USA. These artists have had their work featured on major global platforms such as Berlin Atonal, Broadway NY, London Design Festival, Vogue, Clot Magazine, Times Square. Their work has also been showcased at renowned institutions such as the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, Goethe Institute, Flint Institute of Arts, Institute of Contemporary Arts, Royal Academy of Arts, LaPaix, Tate Modern, Kyoto Arts Centre.
