Event Overview: This immersive experience invited guests to explore humanity’s ironic separation from nature by engaging with artificially re-created landscapes through projections, soundscapes, sculptures, and live performances. Inspired by Plato’s Cave, the event reflected our modern relationship with nature - primarily experienced through screens and digital media, offering only shadows of true connection. Through these mediated experiences, attendees were challenged to consider: Are we content with mere representations, or will we seek a deeper, more authentic bond with the natural world?
The event featured works by artists such as Anan Orly, Charles Auguste, Ohii Katya, Jo Martin, 3eyes, with live performances throughout the evening by Eliz, Kathleen Savage, Scarlett Woolfe, and many more. Live music was performed by Grand River and Snakecase. These artists have had their work featured on major global platforms such as DAZED, Vogue, Sky Arts, TEDx, The Face Magazine, and many more. Their work has also been showcased at renowned institutions Barbican Hall, Centre Pompidou, Venice Art International Art Fair, Tate Modern, The Royal Scottish Academy, Egg London, System Shanghai, Berlin Fashion Week, Sonar Festival, and many more.
